An effective safety culture requires the full participation of everyone to be successful. This course provides the Safety Management Systems 4 components in practice, using real time examples from a host airport, to appraise the learner on the essential concepts of the SMS with focus on fostering an applied, proactive, positive safety culture. This course is intended to all professionals working within the aviation industry who have basic knowledge of ICAO Annex 19 and the SMM doc 9859. Managers and staff from Safety Offices will particularly benefit from this course, as will representatives from Civil Aviation Authorities.
