33rd Annual General Assembly, Regional Conference and Exhibition of ACI Africa, and Airshow in Johannesburg from 16 to 22 September 2024
The 33rd ACI Africa Annual General Assembly, Regional Conference, Exhibition and Airshow will be held from 16 to 22 September 2024 in Johannesburg, South Africa at the kind invitation of ACSA, the host of this conference.
The conference, comprising the official opening ceremony, interactive panel sessions, and the exhibition, will take place on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September, under the theme Flying Together: Airport Collaboration and Partnerships. As you are aware, collaboration and partnerships are instrumental for the efficient and financial sustainability of the air transport industry, constituting prerequisites for an improved air connectivity in Africa and acting as a catalyst for socio-economic developments at both national and regional levels. Likewise, the multiple and diverse internal and external stakeholders, which comprise the complex airport ecosystem, are called upon to have strong symbiotic relationships among them, based on an aligned vision which provides a sense of purpose and direction, in the prime interest of the common customers they serve. This conference will thus provide you with the following unique opportunities:
- Unparalleled Networking Opportunities | Connect with aviation leaders from around the word and foster innovative collaborations
- Expert Insights and Strategies | Gain actionable insights from industry experts on building successful and profitable partnerships
- Trends and Future Developments | Learn about the latest trends and how partnerships can position your organization for future success
The conference will be preceded by the 72nd ACI Africa Board meeting as well as the Regional Committee meetings on Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 September 2024. The opening of the exhibition will take place on Wednesday 18 September in the evening. Monday 16 September will be dedicated to a full day of masterclasses on diverse and fitting subjects and will be free-of-charge for all ACI Africa members.
Delegates of the conference will also have the exclusive chance to attend the Africa Aerospace and Defence Air show and Defence Exhibition in the City of Tshwane on Saturday 21 September at the kind invitation of our host.
The 7-day event will culminate with a social-day on 22 September which will include visits to Soweto and its environs.
