It is no secret to anyone that aviation safety is a team effort involving all aviation partners, stakeholders and the community at large.
ACI Africa Safety Week is usually organised in September every year. It is a unique opportunity for all internal and external stakeholders to address and confront safety issues as well as to be once again familiarized and sensitized on aviation safety. The one week campaign aims to involve all airport staff indistinctively on the need to uphold and promote aviation safety at all times.
ACI Africa prepares a Safety Week Tool Kit as a guide on how to launch and manage this initiative.
Participating airports report on this initiative at the regional committee meeting held in October every year.
