The following are eligible to be members of ACI Africa:
Is considered a Regular member, any legal entity which directly operates and manages, on a day-to-day basis, all or a substantial part of the airside or terminal buildings at one or more civil airports with commercial air service. The legal entity must hold a valid operator certificate or is delegated by the holder of such certificate in Africa and which decides to apply for membership.
Affiliate member is a regular member of ACI in other regions, whose application is accepted by the General Assembly and pays the Affiliate dues in addition to the regular membership dues in its geographical region.
One can be an Associate member of ACI Africa in the following three cases:
- Any legal entity which directly operates and manages, on a day-to-day basis, all or a substantial part of the airside and/or terminal buildings at one or more civil airports without a scheduled or permanent commercial air service located in the Africa region.
- National or regional civil airport associations. Only those members of such national or regional associations who are also Regular or Associate members of ACI Africa may participate in its proceedings.
- Civil aviation authorities.
