ACI Africa was established as a region of ACI in 1991 in conformity with ACI World regulations. ACI Africa has its own Statutes and is self-governing under its own internal rules.
ACI Africa holds a number of events throughout the year including two annual Board Meetings, Regional Conferences and Exhibitions, as well as training courses in the different sub regions of Africa.
The AADP has been designed to complement the APEX review by providing necessary assistance and support to African airports to meet the challenge of addressing findings of the APEX review efficiently and sustainably in a bid to achieving certification or aiming for safety or security excellence.
ACI Africa works in the interest of its members to advance the cause of aviation in the air transport industry in Africa and at the global level. ACI Africa is an important service provider, implementing and providing policies, guidelines, programs, services and campaigns to all ACI Africa members.
ACI generates a wealth of data and information, including on air traffic statistics, publications, manuals as well as customized statistics and trend analysis.
