ACI Africa promotes the exchange and sharing of experience across the full range of airport disciplines through a collaborative, peer-driven approach that leverages expertise from within the African airport community and beyond. Through this model, African airports benefit from access to qualified subject-matter experts who provide practical, context-appropriate support tailored to local needs and operational realities.
Within the framework of the African Airports Development Programme (AADP), ACI Africa delivers targeted technical and advisory assistance to its member airports across a wide spectrum of areas, including governance and management, human resources and organisational development, safety and security, environmental sustainability and ESG, airport planning and infrastructure development, maintenance and asset management, quality of service, economics and commercial performance, and emergency preparedness, including rescue and firefighting services. Assistance may be provided through on-site or remote missions, diagnostics, and follow-up support, depending on the nature and scope of the engagement.

Request for an assistance mission has to be made officially by the Authorised Representative of the airport to the Secretary General of ACI Africa.
