The Board is composed of a maximum of twenty-five (25) representatives of the Regular Members of ACI Africa, as detailed below.
Twenty-one (21) are drawn from the sub-regions of Africa (North, West, East, Central, and Southern Africa), and from representatives of Business Partners, as follows:
- Five (5) seats are allocated directly to airport members with the highest annual passenger traffic within each sub-region (major contributors).
- Fifteen (15) seats are allocated among the remaining countries of the various sub-regions, in accordance with the distribution set out in the table below.
- Two (2) seats are reserved for representatives of Business Partners (Gold Members), serving respectively as Member and Member-at-Large
The remaining three (3) Board members comprise:
- The Immediate Past President
- One representative of ASECNA
- One representative of the host airport of the forthcoming annual conference
